Job summary

The YMCA of Greenville is seeking a Wellness Associate I to deliver exceptional customer service to members, participants and guests on a part-time basis. You will greet guests, book appointments, answer questions about programs, and maintain a clean, organized wellness floor.

Responsibilities include conducting facility tours, promoting Y memberships and services, and adhering to safety policies. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset, with CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age and/or junior in high school.
At least 1 year or more customer service/public relations experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid, Blood Bourne Pathogen and Child Abuse Prevention training within first 30 days of employment.
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests and provide excellent customer service.
Book appointments and answer questions regarding services and programs.
Open, maintain and clean the wellness floor and provide tours/orientations as needed.
Promote YMCA memberships, programs, services and lessons; share discounts.
Adhere to YMCA policies and safety guidelines and respond to member requests promptly.
