Job summary

YMCA Central New Mexico in Albuquerque seeks a Wellness Coach to oversee the fitness center, coach members on safe use of equipment, and foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

• Ability to educate members on proper exercise technique.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment functions properly and report issues.
• Enforce safety rules and policies.
• Educate members on correct and safe exercise movements.
• Engage with members to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with cleaning and keeping equipment organized.
• Provide orientations on basic workouts and equipment use.
• Follow YMCA policies including emergencies and safety procedures.
