Job summary

Onyx Wellness Center is hiring a Maintenance Tech. The role covers a range of standard maintenance and repair tasks to keep facility grounds and interiors in good condition.

You will work under the Maintenance Director and support a safe, clean environment for residents and staff. The position offers full- and part-time options within a wellness setting, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions from the Maintenance Director.
• Keep building and grounds clean, safe and orderly.
• Maintain and repair basic facility functions per Maintenance Director.
• Care for tools and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on rails, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, HVAC, sprinklers, lighting and extinguishers; change HVAC filters; carry and stock supplies.
• Remain on call 24 hours as assigned.
• Assume supervisor's duties in their absence.
• Deliver high-quality service in a caring, respectful environment.
