Job summary

Greater Midland Wellness Center is seeking a Fitness Specialist to help members exercise safely and receive outstanding service.

Under the direction of the Wellness Coordinator, you will check in members, administer InBody 570 assessments, conduct orientations, maintain cleanliness, and assist with special events, while modeling the center’s values of caring and respect. You will be visible on the floor, answer questions, guide tours, and support group fitness activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or more.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent people skills and ability to learn wellness systems.
• One-year minimum experience in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for all members and guests to achieve wellness goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors of the Wellness Center through active listening.
• Be visible on the floor, ready to answer questions and assist members while performing cleaning duties and resetting the center.
• Give equipment orientations and tours of the Wellness Center and guide other facility areas as needed.
• Inform guests about facility services, programs, schedules, costs, memberships, policies and events.
• Perform administrative tasks supporting group fitness activities.
• Demonstrate caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility as role models within the facility.
• Foster team collaboration and align with Greater Midland's values.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Greater Midland’s culture.
