Job summary

The Kenaitze Indian Tribe is seeking a dedicated Custodian for the Dena'ina Wellness Center (DWC). The role includes cleaning patient areas such as pharmacy, medical records, radiology, and treatment rooms, while upholding infection control and CARF standards.

Custodial tasks require attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for patient safety and privacy. The position is full-time with a 40-hour work week, located at the DWC in Alaska.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Previous Custodian experience preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the Dena'ina Wellness Center rooms and facilities daily.
• Empty trash and manage waste per regulations.
• Maintain infection control standards and CARF accreditation compliance.
• Ensure doors/windows are secured after shift and buildings are safe.
