Grand Living in Austin, TX seeks a Health & Wellness Assistant to deliver compassionate care and support residents with daily living activities. You will assist with medications where licensed, support wellness initiatives, and participate in dining experiences and events to enhance resident life.

The role emphasizes building relationships, promoting independence, and contributing to a First Class Happiness experience across Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams.

Formación

• Assists residents with daily living activities with dignity.
• Experience caring for seniors is preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting.
• Support residents per personalized care plans while promoting dignity and independence.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nursing team.
• Provide medication assistance and administration where licensed and assigned.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families in a warm, engaging atmosphere.
• Participate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and events.
• Collaborate with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all services provided or declined.
