Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a Steward to support Blues Café operations in Flowood, MS. You will help deliver a welcoming dining experience for employees and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, prep areas and dining spaces.

The role requires reliability, the ability to follow instructions, confidentiality, and the stamina to lift up to 30 lbs; prior food service experience is preferred, and teamwork is essential to excellence and health goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in the food service industry required.
• Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow instruction.
• Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of Blues Café kitchen, preparation and dining areas, equipment, dishes and utensils.
• Provide prompt, courteous service that exemplifies the Company’s commitment to Health & Wellness and Excellence.
• Work as a team player and key support position.
