Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin in Spicewood, TX is seeking a friendly Barista to prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks in a fast-paced resort setting. The role includes taking orders, maintaining a clean workspace, and delivering welcoming service to guests.

Part-time and full-time schedules are available with flexible days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The starting pay is $20.67 per hour, with benefits including health plan, 25 days of personal and holiday time off, and access to Canyon Ranch

Qualifications

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience.
• Position requires regular lifting up to 40 lbs and the ability to remain active during shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, espresso beverages, smoothies and other café items to resort standards.
• Take and confirm guest orders, including any special requests, using the hotel point‑of‑sale system.
• Provide attentive service by anticipating guest needs, ensuring satisfaction, and promptly addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar and work areas at all times.
• Greet each guest promptly and courteously with eye contact and a welcoming demeanor.
