Position Details

Kroc Wellness Attendant (KAA)

• Location/Dept.: The Salvation Army Kroc Center (SAKC), Philadelphia, PA
• Availability: Immediate
• Schedule: Part Time - flexible hours to support pre-opening and ongoing operations
• Reporting Relationship: Fitness and Recreation Manager
• Grade: 74 Salary Range: $16.00

Responsibilities

Assist in aquatics, fitness, gymnasium, and member services under supervision. Enforce department rules, ensuring minors are accompanied by guardians and only eligible members access the facility. Address violations professionally and report issues to managers for follow-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or enrolled in such a program
• Current CPR/AED preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English communication
• Must complete child abuse recognition and reporting training within 30 days of employment and recurrent training every five years
• Meet all Child Protection Clearances as per PA Act 153
• Understanding and appreciation of The Salvation Army's mission
