Job summary

TerrAscend Corp. is seeking a part-time Wellness Associate to assist patients and customers with cannabis recommendations, product selection, dosing, and administration.

This on-site role at our Nottingham, MD location requires availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays. Pay is $16.50 per hour plus tips. You will maintain patient records, stay current with state regulations, and deliver outstanding service to build trust and ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cannabis experience a plus.
• At least 1 year of customer service, retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.
• Work/cover weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Must have good organizational and computer skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communications skills as well as multitasking.
• Background Check Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations through product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
• Management of patient records through the State mandated system and POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service practices to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits and ensure patient confidentiality and security.
• Assist patients in learning and understanding about medical marijuana to help them make informed decisions about their care.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and caregivers by anticipating needs.
• Follow established policies for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our next part time Wellness Associate will provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer services to our patients. Wellness Associates assist our patients, caregivers and customers with cannabis recommendations through the process of product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.

Where you’ll be planted

This position will be on-site in our Nottingham, MD. Our hours of operation are 9am - 9pm 7 days/week. This role will require availability during nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Pay

$16.50/hr w/ additional tips not included in base pay listed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough product knowledge and answer concerns and/or questions promptly and efficiently, referring to a dispensary healthcare practitioner or management team when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service practices to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and ensure patient confidentiality and security.
• Assist patients in learning and understanding about medical marijuana in effort to help them make informed decisions about their care.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and caregivers and/or customers by anticipating needs.
• Follow established policies and procedures for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

This position may require the ability to perform essential functions that include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Team members may need to lift and move items, e.g., product packages, display cases, cash registers, or inventory boxes, weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The role may also require visual abilities to accurately handle transactions, verify product information, and maintain inventory, as well as manual dexterity for handling cash, operating point-of-sale systems, and organizing products. Employees may be required to remain on their feet for extended periods and perform repetitive hand or arm movements with or without reasonable accommodation.
