Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking an Employer Health and Well-Being System Specialist in Des Moines. You will configure and manage employer wellbeing portals, programs, communications, and reporting to help employees build healthier habits.

You will collaborate with Well-Being Consultants, Account Management, and vendors to service clients, troubleshoot issues, and ensure program delivery as expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or direct and applicable work experience required.
• 2 years of experience with a business program or application (configuration/administration/analysis, testing, reporting, etc.).
• Experience with complex workflows or operational business processes and ability to articulate changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication to staff at all levels, including external customers.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy, quality, timeliness, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system administrator and SME for assigned well-being services programs; configure, message, report, test and administer per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Well-Being Consultants and stakeholders to define goals and configure portal solutions.
• Manage reporting metrics for assigned groups; produce and distribute program reporting with stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams and vendors to ensure data transfers and issue resolution.
• Represent Employer Consulting Team in projects affecting systems and services.
• Support customer experience with wellness portal and service line; resolve inquiries and communicate resolutions to groups/members.
• Oversee group purchase processes including data entry, tracking and QA for delivery and integration.
• Comply with regulatory and accreditation standards; support NCQA initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
