Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd in Peel is seeking a Wellbeing Coordinator for Castleview to develop and run a vibrant activities program for residents. You will plan daily, weekly, and monthly events across arts, therapy, fitness, and outings, tailoring activities to meet physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.

You will collaborate with care staff, maintain records, coordinate external entertainers, and ensure activities are delivered in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care home or community setting is desirable.
  • Background in recreational therapy, social work, or related field is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for improving residents' lives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy and genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activities tailored to meet residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Organise daily, weekly, and monthly events (arts & crafts, music therapy, fitness, outings).
  • Encourage resident participation and foster community within the home.
  • Collaborate with care staff to identify resident needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and progress.
  • Coordinate with external entertainers, volunteers, and community groups.
  • Ensure activities are conducted safely and inclusively.
  • Promote wellbeing and a positive atmosphere for residents.
