Job summary

Kimble Company seeks a Well Pumper to operate and maintain oil and gas wells at surface level, traveling to well sites as needed. The role focuses on monitoring operations, controlling valves, and ensuring proper flow and safety protocols.

The position requires physical fitness, outdoor work in various weather conditions, and the ability to lift heavy loads. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are mandatory, with background checks and drug screening part of the process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operations of oil and gas wells.
• Operate timer controller to open/close valves manually.
• Operate valves, chokes, regulators, and dump control valve to maintain target pressure and flow.
• Operate engines and pumps to shut off wells per production schedules and route flow to storage.
• Walk pipelines to line locate and change gas flow charts.
• Gauging tanks and scheduling water/oil pickup.
• Attach pumps and hoses to wellheads; perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with repairs on well equipment and keep records per policy.

This position will travel to oil and gas well sites to operate and maintain oil and gas wells at the surface level.

Minimum Qualifications For a Well Pumper

Responsibilities And Duties

• Monitor the day-to-day operations of oil and gas wells.
• Operate timer controller that opens and closes valves manually.
• Manually operate valves, chokes, regulators, and dump control valve to ensure that materials are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate and concentration.
• Operate engines and pumps in order to shut off wells according to production schedules, and to switch flow of oil into storage tanks.
• Walk pipelines to line locate
• Changing gas flow charts
• Gauging tanks
• Scheduling water and oil pick up
• Attach pumps and hoses to wellheads.
• Spraying and weed trimming well sites
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on all well equipment:
• Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on all well equipment: Well head, Separator, Tanks, Tank battery equipment, Gas meters, Pump jack

Repairs

• Repair gas and oil meters and gauges
• Repair pipe sections, pumps replacement and clean filters
