Job summary

Kimble is seeking a reliable Water Truck Driver to transport and deliver water to construction projects and oil sites in a safe, compliant manner. You will operate a truck with a sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways to control dust, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and Kimble policies.

A valid Class A CDL and 2+ years water truck experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission truck.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years water truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill the truck with water from supplies.
• Load and unload water at local facilities.
• Spray roadways to control dust.
• Operate company vehicles safely per OSHA and DOT; follow Kimble policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maneuver safely in traffic and residential/commercial areas.
• Notify Supervisor of accidents or damages.
• Maintain route sheets and driver logs.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings.

The Water Truck Driver will be transporting and delivering water to designated locations, including construction projects and oil sites, and driving a truck equipped with sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways in order to control dust.

Minimum qualifications for Truck Drivers:

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license
• Ability to operate truck with a manual transmission
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years water truck driving experience
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Filling the truck with water from supplies.
• Load and unload water at local facilities.
• Spray roadways in order to control dust, as necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, all local, state and federal laws and Kimble policies.
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspection of the vehicle, and document/report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
• Safely maneuver vehicle in residential and commercial environments and navigate high traffic areas.
• Immediately notifies Supervisor of accidents, injuries, or property damage
• Maintains and updates route sheets and driver logs
• Attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
