Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking an Esthetician for WELL Spa + Salon to deliver luxurious skincare and spa services. You will conduct thorough guest consultations, perform facials, waxing, and body treatments, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

This is a part-time, commission-based position with opportunities for career growth within Marcus Hotels & Resorts, training, and discounts on services and room stays.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin esthetician license in good standing or ability to obtain before employment.
• Strong skincare knowledge, sanitation, and spa standards.
• Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during esthetic services.

Responsibilities

• Perform esthetic services including facials, skincare, waxing, and specialty treatments per WELL Spa standards.
• Consult guests on skin goals, sensitivities, and contraindications for safe treatments.
• Maintain pristine treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies at all times.
• Educate guests on skincare regimens and product recommendations.
• Foster personalized service and guest relationships to support retention.

What you will be doing

• Perform a variety of esthetic services, including customized facials, skincare treatments, body treatments, waxing services, and specialty treatments in accordance with WELL Spa standards and guest preferences.
• Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess skin conditions, concerns, treatment goals, and contraindications while ensuring guest comfort and safety.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, linens, skincare products, and supplies in a clean, sanitized, and professional condition at all times.
• Educate guests on skincare regimens, treatment benefits, and retail product recommendations to support their wellness goals and enhance their overall experience.
• Build lasting guest relationships by delivering personalized service, creating a relaxing environment, and contributing to guest retention and satisfaction.

Position Requirements

• Current Wisconsin Esthetician License in good standing or ability to obtain and maintain required licensing before employment.
• Strong knowledge of skincare techniques, product ingredients, sanitation practices, and professional spa standards.
• Exceptional guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming and relaxing experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform esthetic services requiring repetitive hand, arm, and upper-body movements.
