Job summary

The Pfister Hotel, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts in Milwaukee, seeks a guest services associate to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, and provide concierge-style information for a memorable arrival and departure.

You will escort guests to rooms, explain amenities, arrange transportation, and maintain the lobby and front-of-house areas to luxury standards.

This part-time, hourly role pays $13.93 per hour with flexible scheduling and perks such as room discounts and staff benefits.

What you will be doing

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and departure, providing exceptional service while assisting with luggage, directions, and hotel information to create a memorable first and last impression.

• Escort guests to their rooms, explain hotel amenities and services, and ensure a seamless and personalized arrival experience.

• Assist with transportation needs, including coordinating valet services, arranging taxis or rideshare transportation, and providing local recommendations and concierge-style support.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of lobby, entrance, and guest service areas while upholding The Pfister Hotel's luxury hospitality standards.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Valet teams to ensure an outstanding guest experience and resolve concerns efficiently.

Position Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional guest service with a professional, friendly, and hospitality-focused demeanor.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, associates, and business partners.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required in a 24/7 luxury hotel environment.
