Job summary

Jobsoid Inc. is seeking a Well Planner II to support the development of well plans and engineering designs. The role is crucial in ensuring safe and cost-effective drilling operations, working alongside senior engineers and clients to enhance well design and planning activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and have at least 1 year of experience in drilling engineering. Responsibilities include developing well plans, performing engineering calculations, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in drilling engineering, well planning, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of drilling operations and well design concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of well plans including trajectories and drilling programs.
  • Perform basic to intermediate engineering calculations.
  • Support operational schedules and analyze offset well data.
  • Collaborate with drilling supervisors and engineers.
  • Identify potential risks and support mitigation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation and End of Well Report.
  • Provide support to ongoing drilling operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
