100Hires, Inc. is hiring a Weldment Quality Assurance Inspector to safeguard conformance for fabricated weldments and assemblies on the shop floor. You will verify in‑process builds against drawings, inspect finished parts, and document decisions in Epicor while maintaining gauges and metrology tools.

The role requires blueprint literacy, 1+ year of QA inspection experience, and a safety‑minded approach with PPE usage. This is an in‑person, full‑time position based in Richmond, IN.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience or equivalent training.
• Background in a welding/fabrication manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficient with inspection tools and methods (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong blueprint and technical document reading skills.
• Working knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective gear (face shield, PPE, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Detail‑oriented with a results‑driven approach.

Responsabilités

• Verify in‑process work: confirm specifications, run visual and dimensional checks, and communicate needed adjustments to the appropriate department manager.
• Accept or reject finished parts: perform final visual and measurement tests; route nonconforming items for rework and confirm corrections are completed accurately.
• Document everything: complete inspection logs and reports, summarize rework and waste, and enter results into the quality database (Epicor).
• Keep tools reliable: follow instructions to operate and maintain gauges and metrology equipment (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions to understand customer requirements.
• Maintain required quality records, test data, and metrics.
• Decide and tag product status during periodic inspections in line with established procedures.
• Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Manager as needed.
