Job summary

Just In Time Staffing in Ohio seeks a Weld Trainer to develop, deliver, and maintain welding training for both new hires and established welders. You will coach welders on workmanship, productivity, and adherence to welding procedures, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on welding in manufacturing, strong MIG/TIG skills, and the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of hands-on welding experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding; flux-core and robotic welding a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
Knowledge of welding quality standards and inspection.
Experience training or mentoring others.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, deliver, and maintain welding training for new hires and current welders.
Coach welders on workmanship, productivity, and process adherence.
Evaluate trainee progress with tests and observations.
Create training materials and toolbox talks.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Maintain training records and certification documentation.
Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage are followed.
Lead progression testing and refresher training as required.
