Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our production team in Texas. You will weld pole assemblies, read and interpret drawings and weld symbols, and ensure parts meet specifications for 1G and 2F positions.

Responsibilities include setting up welding machines, adjusting parameters, inspecting welds with gauges, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. AWS/MIG certification is required for specific operations, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• AWS Certification required for specific welding operations.
• Must be AWS certified in MIG welding to meet MT/UT inspection quality.
• Basic shop math; ability to read and write; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Manually positions pole assembly in rollers and welds per drawings and specs.
• Reads weld symbols, attachments, weld size and configuration from drawings.
• Adjusts welding machines to achieve desired results; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Wears PPE and maintains a clean, safe work area on the production line.
• Interprets work orders and production schedules; uses gauges to size welds.
