The ideal candidate has at least one year of welding experience, can read blueprints, and holds a High School Diploma or GED. The position requires safety-conscious performance and willingness to operate heavy equipment on site.

Qualifications

• One year of applicable welding experience or equivalent.
• Pass weld test through pre-employment or internal program.
• Ability to train others on three weld stations.
• Class A/B welding proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to build parts, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Heat and form metal parts using hand tools and torches; position parts for welding.
• Operate an overhead crane to move parts and read measuring devices accurately.
• Proficiently run a robot/tube welder and troubleshoot as needed; perform rework on materials and welds.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow 6S and safety procedures.
• Assist on different production lines and support multiple weld stations as required.
