Job summary

Lamons in Beaumont, TX seeks an experienced Welder to join our production team. You will fuse metal components, fabricate gaskets, and repair parts, delivering high-quality welds in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include setup and operation of welding and cutting equipment, reading job orders, inspecting outputs, and maintaining inventory. Certification and on-the-job training are required, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience.
• Must successfully complete Lamons yearly weld test certification.
• Preferred GTAW welding certificate.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hoses or fabrication yard preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs fabrication procedures such as bending, welding, and cutting gaskets or DJ strips.
• Sets up, operates and maintains machinery and hand tools for cutting, forming or building gaskets.
• Operates HeliArc / gas welding equipment and related tools.
• Interprets job orders to determine product needs and ensures quality conformance.
• Inspects finished products and submits to packing/shipping.
• Maintains material inventory and assists training new team members.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and complies with safety standards.
• Uses forklift for material handling and supports on-call service when required.
