Nortek Air Solutions is seeking Welders of all levels to join our manufacturing operations team in the United States. The welder will fuse metal parts, repair components, and assemble products in accordance with shop blueprints and AWS standards, while maintaining safety practices.

Welding processes include GMAW, TMAW, Arc Stud Welding, and Resistance Welding. The role requires passing welding tests, good math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of some secondary/trade school preferred.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Ability to pass a welding test and read/interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good math skills for interpreting measurements and tolerances.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication in English; ability to work independently and with others.

Responsabilités

• Weld, repair, and join metal components per shop blueprints and AWS specifications.
• Operate welding processes including GMAW, TMAW, Arc Stud Welding, and Resistance Welding.
• Cut metal using oxy-acetylene, plasma cutter, or grinding discs per shop blueprints.
• Pass employer performance tests to meet AWS certification standards.
• Operate equipment such as shear, chop saw, crane, die grinder, drill press, grinder, bandsaw, forklift, and iron worker.
• Maintain a safe and lean work environment and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
