The role focuses on TIG, plasma, and laser welding, plus related assembly and testing to sustain production. The ideal candidate has experience with precision welding, relevant certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and the ability to work with export-controlled information.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG, plasma, and laser welding per spec.
• TIG and laser welding certifications required within 90 days of hire or upgrade.
• Must have legal right to work in the US and access export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Support design, QA, and manufacturing engineering in development and assembly.
• Fabrication, assembly and test to support ongoing production.
• Identify and implement process improvements using lean, six sigma, 5S, Kaizen.
• Demonstrate ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Assist with product transitions to other AMETEK sites.
