Job summary

Lindsay Corporation in Lindsay, Nebraska is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld on metals and alloys, read blueprints, and ensure assemblies meet strength and pressure requirements. The role requires passing a weld test and lifting up to 50 lbs, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Read blueprints and drawings and take/ read measurements to plan layouts.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certification such as AWS welding is a plus.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Must wear PPE including metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Weld on metals and alloys to meet strength and pressure specs using aluminum, stainless steel, and other materials.
• Perform spot welding on various product parts for assemblies.
• Position, align and fit fabricated plates, shapes, and weldments for assembly.
