Job summary

Lindsay Corporation is seeking a skilled welder to perform wire and spot welding on diverse metals, ensuring strength and pressure compliance. You will prepare and fit fabricated plates and structures for final assembly in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements include reading blueprints, passing a weld test, and lifting up to 50 lbs. AWS certification is a plus; 18+ years old, with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate PPE compliance.
• Certification in welding (AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wire weld on multiple metals and alloys to meet strength and pressure specs using aluminum, stainless steel and other alloys.
• Perform spot welding on various parts and products.
• Position, align, and fit fabricated plates and structural shapes for assembly into welded products.
