Job summary

Lindsay Corporation is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician in Lindsay, Nebraska to assemble or modify electrical equipment, test systems, and interpret panels, switches, motors, and telemetering gear. You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and ensure quality while meeting production goals.

The role requires overtime and weekend availability, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints.
  • Must be familiar with hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of caliper gauges and computers.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble or modify electrical/electronic equipment and test systems.
  • Read drawings and wiring diagrams and assemble components.
  • Follow assembly procedures and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with team to meet production schedules.

Position Summary

A successful Electronical Assembly Technician will be able to assemble or modify electrical or electronic equipment, such as electrical panel, switches kits, motors, or hydraulic cylinders and test equipment e.g. telemetering systems, electric motors, center drives.

Qualifications and Behaviors
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints
  • Must have knowledge of caliper gauges and computers
  • Must be familiar with hand tools – drills, screwdrivers, etc
  • Previous wiring experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet our customer needs.
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
  • Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
