Avery Weigh-Tronix, part of ITW, is hiring for an occasional welding role in Minnesota. You will set up welding machines, weld various thicknesses of steel, read blueprints, and ensure quality while meeting deadlines.

Overtime may occur, with early mornings and potential weekend shifts, while maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The position requires a high school diploma and welding experience, plus basic computer knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and welding experience.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and basic computer use.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate welding equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machines and weld various thicknesses and steel types.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools and read blueprints.
• Clamp and assemble structures, complete paperwork accurately.
• Operate cutting torch, stud and spot welders, grinders, and sand blasters.
