Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Troy, IL is seeking a Weld Technician for the 3rd shift. You will read blueprints and welding symbols, perform quality inspections, and collaborate with a cross-functional team of welders to ensure weld quality and dimensional accuracy.

The role uses robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig equipment, emphasizing safety and precision in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No immigration sponsorship or work authorization support for this position.
• No relocation benefit offered; 50-mile radius of Troy, IL.
• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
