Staffmark is seeking a Welding Technician in Minden, LA to fabricate and weld high-quality metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

This position requires precision welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills
• Able to read blueprints and use a tape measure
• Steel-toe boots/shoes

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
• Perform MIG/TIG/structural welding on floors, walls, roofs, and mechanical components
• Complete fabrication and welding tasks according to production requirements
• Operate grinders and hand tools to smooth and finish welds
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Support general shop duties and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
