You will read blueprints, lay out parts, inspect welds, and maintain equipment while following strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited welding program or a GMAW course, or have 1 year welding experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements.
• Able to work across multiple shifts, including nights and/or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly.
• Examine components for defects and measure components to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform welding tasks to join metal parts according to blueprints and drawings.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structure for durability and precision using measurement tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Follow all shop safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with personnel and customers.

Hunt containers/trailers and other equipment to technical specifications. This role involves welding in various positions and maintaining equipment in optimal conditional.
