Job summary

HII seeks an experienced training program designer to plan, develop and coordinate in-house product training for field teams and customers. You will prepare content, develop evaluation criteria, and continuously update training materials to meet evolving requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or a Master's with 4+ years, plus equivalency options relevant to naval and industrial environments. A Welding background is a nice-to-have asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive professional and/or supervisory experience.
• Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent qualifications: Apprentice School graduate, NNPS graduate, Associate's + 2 years exempt, or 4 years non-exempt experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
• Obtain information to prepare training programs; develop materials and course content.
• Conduct training sessions and evaluate effectiveness of training activities; revise lesson plans as needed.
