Job summary

Miller Industries in Hermitage, PA is seeking skilled welders to join our production team. You will weld metal parts according to blueprints and blueprints, and perform quality checks on bead size and weld integrity.

This role includes a demanding four days on, four days off schedule, with emphasis on safety and precision. Ideal candidates can read AWS weld blueprints, operate MIG welding equipment, and wear PPE such as a PAPR for long shifts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work four days on, then four days off.
• Must wear PPE including a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
• Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
• Repair broken or cracked metal objects, fill holes, and build up metal parts.
• Lay out, position, and tack welds workpieces.
• Read AWS blueprints and perform MIG welding.
