Job summary

Accelevation LLC in Houston, MS is seeking a Welder Team Lead to guide the 1st shift welding crew. You will perform welding tasks across MIG, TIG, and Stick processes while ensuring safety and quality on production projects.

You will mentor teammates, enforce standards, read blueprints, and coordinate with other departments to keep projects on schedule. This role requires hands-on leadership in a manufacturing setting and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in welding is preferred.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and Stick welding techniques.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Able to work on the 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the welding team during the 1st shift to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to improve skills and productivity.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and company policies on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Document work performed and report any issues or delays to management.
