Qualifications

• Assists welders by preparing materials and assisting with welding tasks.
• Reads and interprets basic welding blueprints and instructions.
• Maintains a safe, organized work area and follows safety procedures.
• Works effectively in a team and supports multiple welders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welder I and Welder II in welding tasks under supervision.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, grinding, and scrapping as needed.
• Set up welding equipment and tools under guidance.
• Handle and store welding materials and equipment properly.
• Read welding blueprints and follow instructions.
• Assist in tack welding components for final welds.
