Job summary

Madix, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead assembly operations in our Alabama plant. You will establish priorities, monitor performance, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

You should have a high school diploma, 2 years in manufacturing leadership, strong English, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. We offer health benefits, 401k, holidays, vacation, and an onsite clinic.

Qualifications

• Reading and analyzing charts, work orders, and production reports to determine requirements.
• 2 years of experience in assembly manufacturing leadership preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree in manufacturing ops preferred.
• English proficiency; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish priorities, communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise results.
• Coach, mentor, and discipline staff; enforce policies and procedures.
• Read and analyze production schedules and reports to determine needs and adjust processes.
• Read and implement action plans to correct deviations from audits or specifications.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity by monitoring workflow and equipment.

Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other reports to determine production requirements. Complete administration duties that include time and attendance system, holiday/vacation planning, production reports, back order reviews, past due list, and safety violations/concerns.Job Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWorking Knowledge of lean process preferred. English required, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Communication skills (verbal & written) . Strong time management skills, deadline and detail oriented. Demonstrated ability to work in a team. Positive attitude and action oriented. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED required.
