CV-Tek is seeking a hands-on Welding Supervisor for the 2nd Shift to lead a small manufacturing team. Approximately 80% of the role involves direct TIG welding and fabrication, with 20% dedicated to mentoring, coaching, and accountability.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Enforce safety requirements and best practices.

CV-Tek is seeking a hands‑on Welding Supervisor to lead our 2nd Shift manufacturing team.

This is not a desk job.

Approximately 80% of this role is spent working alongside the team performing TIG welding and fabrication work, while 20% is dedicated to leading, coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable.

We manufacture high‑quality stainless steel food packaging equipment that is shipped to customers throughout the industry. Quality matters. Appearance matters. Craftsmanship matters.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift
• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 2-4 weeks of paid training on 1st Shift
• Overtime available (approximately 2 hours per day)
• Overtime is not mandatory
• No weekend work currently

What You’ll Do

• Lead a small 2nd Shift manufacturing team consisting of welders and CNC machinists
• Perform hands‑on TIG welding and fabrication work
• Ensure all work meets CV‑Tek’s quality and cosmetic standards
• Support production priorities and coordinate with 1st Shift leadership
• Train and develop less experienced welders
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
• Enforce safety requirements and best practices
• Coach employees and hold them accountable for performance, attendance, quality, and safety expectations
• Foster a positive and professional team environment
• Help drive continuous improvement throughout the operation

Requirements

Required

• Strong TIG welding experience
• Experience welding stainless steel
• Previous leadership, lead person, or supervisory experience

Preferred

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Food equipment manufacturing experience
• Fabrication experience
• Welding certifications
• Experience developing and mentoring junior welders

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work overtime when needed
