Qualifications

• Strong leadership and ability to foster teamwork on the shop floor.
• Minimum of two years in welding supervision or a lead role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Capable of using hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to enforce company rules and policies.
• Willingness to learn about company products, quality and safety policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with dependable attendance.
• Must follow work instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Able to read and write legibly; basic math skills.
• Experience with forklift operation and basic processes.

Responsibilities

• Runs and coordinates departments based on the production schedule and reports to the group.
• Keeps production within defined goals and hours per employee.
• Enforces 5S/LEAN housekeeping standards and keeps the shop floor organized.
• Monitors efficiency and initiates corrective actions to meet targets.
• Trains new employees and ensures compliance with WI and procedures.
• Coordinates with Quality on issues and implements corrective actions.
• Addresses employee issues with management and HR as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations and maintains attendance records.
• Directs leads in tagging non-conforming materials and safety compliance.
