Job summary

Texas Hydraulics is seeking a Robot Operator in Temple, TX to run welding robot cells and ensure high-quality assemblies meet THI standards. This hands-on role emphasizes precision, safety, and adherence to quality procedures on a fast-paced shop floor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (or 2 years relevant experience) and be willing to pursue the THI Certified Welder Entry Test. Expect a full-time, on-site position with exposure to heat and fumes.

Qualifications

• Read and understand safety rules, work instructions, prints and procedures.
• Basic math including percentages, measurements and dimensions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding robot cells to produce quality welds efficiently and consistently.
• Verify parts meet print dimensions before loading into the robot cell.
• Clean and prep parts and weld joints prior to welding.
• Load parts correctly with proper orientation and rotation per the print.
• Partner with the Lead for first-part inspections.
• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure print compliance.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming parts and issue NCRs when needed.
• Suggest process or equipment improvements to Leads and Foremen.
