  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, fumes, and airborne particles.
  • Moderate noise levels typical of a welding environment.
  • Safety-focused culture with defined quality and inspection standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate welding robot cells to produce quality welds efficiently and consistently.
  • Verify parts meet print dimensions before loading into the robot cell.
  • Clean and prep parts and weld joints prior to welding.
  • Load parts correctly, ensuring proper orientation and rotation per the print.
  • Partner with the Lead for first-part inspections.
  • Inspect finished assemblies using the assembly control plan to ensure print compliance.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming parts and ensure NCRs are issued when needed.
  • Share ideas for process or equipment improvements with Leads and Foremen.

As a Robot Operator, you’ll run our welding robot cells and play a key role in producing high-quality assemblies that meet THI standards every time.

This is hands-on work where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in quality truly matter.

What You’ll Do

Operate welding robot cells to produce quality welds efficiently and consistently

Verify parts meet print dimensions before loading into the robot cell

Clean and prep parts and weld joints prior to welding

Load parts correctly, ensuring proper orientation and rotation per the print

Partner with the Lead for first-part inspections

Inspect finished assemblies using the assembly control plan to ensure print compliance

Identify and segregate non-conforming parts and ensure NCRs are issued when needed

Share ideas for process or equipment improvements with Leads and Foremen

What You Bring
