Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG in Switzerland is seeking a Production Team Leader Welding to drive efficient welding operations, lead a skilled team, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. You will coordinate daily production, supervise operators, enforce procedures, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Planning to implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements.

Fluency in German is mandatory; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, organize, and coordinate daily welding operations to meet production plans, deadlines, and performance targets.
Supervise and support the welding team, ensuring clear task allocation, performance feedback, and ongoing development.
Ensure strict adherence to welding procedures, quality standards, and technical specifications.
Promote and enforce workplace safety regulations, conducting regular checks and addressing potential risks proactively.
Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production Planning teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
