Job summary

You will drive continuous improvement, manage staffing, and ensure proper documentation while maintaining a strong safety culture and cost-conscious operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred but not required for leadership roles in manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of safety policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates manufacture to meet production demands with quality and safety.
• Collaborates with plant leadership to optimize staffing and control costs.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and replace staff as needed to meet goals.
• Develops and trains employees; conduct evaluations; lead daily safety/production meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, cost reduction, quality).
• Identify qualified candidates and manage shift coverage and communication.
• Ensure accurate paperwork related to line operation (logs, audits, corrective actions).
• Address urgent production or shipping needs while maintaining safety.
