Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Supervisor in Tennessee to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, coach a diverse team, and link front-line staff with upper management.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and continuous improvement, including 5S initiatives, training, and cost control. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with two years of leadership experience in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the manufacture of building products to meet production demands, while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
• Collaborates with plant leadership to develop staffing guidelines, optimizing resource utilization while controlling costs.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, and replaces staff as required to meet performance goals.
• Develops and trains employees for increasing responsibilities, conducts periodic evaluations, and holds safety and production meetings daily. Drives initiatives of 5S, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Conducts interviews and identifies qualified candidates for hire.
• Assigns personnel, oversees rotations, and maintains effective communication during shift changes and troubleshooting.
• Ensures accurate completion of paperwork related to line operation, including logs, audits, and corrective actions.
