The role focuses on coordinating schedules, mentoring staff, and ensuring efficient through-put across the welding department.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret work instructions, and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Department Supervisor in overseeing daily production schedules to meet throughput targets.
• Serve as a working team lead on the floor and coordinate priorities.
• Train and onboard new employees with hands-on guidance.
• Monitor part quality and verify accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate material flow, tooling, and machine readiness to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• Suggest and implement process improvements for safety and efficiency.
• Fill in for the Department Supervisor during absences.
• Promote a clean, organized, safe work environment and 5S standards.
• Participate in team meetings and cross-department communication to resolve production challenges.
