Job summary

Wastequip is hiring a Helper/Cleaner/Finisher for our Rosemount, MN location. The role involves cleaning, grinding, sanding surfaces, finishing raw products before painting and supporting welding setup. Expected pay is $19.06 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, setting up weld tables, loading materials, assisting welders, and handling heavy parts with lifting equipment. Benefits and long-term growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy parts safely.
• Experience with grinders, sanding and finishing surfaces.
• Ability to assist welders and set up welding fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Examine surfaces for defects and prepare using grinders to remove burrs and scratches.
• Set up weld tables, assist welders, and load materials for welding operations.
• Lift and move heavy parts with hoists, cranes, or forklift, and perform sub-assembly work.
• Maintain grinding/welding tools and assist in basic preventative maintenance.
