Job summary

Batesville Tool & Die Inc is seeking an entry-level Weld Machine Operator to join our team. You will operate welding equipment and related machinery in a safe, efficient environment, with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow your skills.

This role offers multiple shifts, a supportive team, and a path to advancement as you learn production and quality systems while contributing to our quality products and TPM initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to learn machine operation and quality inspection.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to meet quality and production goals.
• Perform basic machine setup and verify settings.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools.
• Record production and quality data in Plex and other systems.
• Support TPM activities and follow standard work.
• Move materials with pallet jacks and maintain a clean, safe area.
• Assist with training and participate in improvement initiatives.
