What You’ll Do:

• Develop and optimize welding procedures to improve quality and efficiency
• Assist with the design and fabrication of jigs and welding fixtures
• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other welders
• Interpret complex technical drawings, welding symbols, and specifications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize weld joint designs
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues
• Set up and adjust welding equipment based on job requirements
• Maintain compliance with company safety standards and protocols
• What You Bring:
• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training or welding certification preferred)
• Extensive experience in sheet metal welding (MIG, TIG, Brazing, etc.)
• Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and specifications
• IMS Qualification Certification Testing (or ability to pass)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Must successfully complete an onsite welding test before proceeding to the interview stage

Physical & Safety Requirements:

• 20/20 vision (with or without correction)
• PPE Required: Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, respirator mask (R95), welding helmet, gloves, sleeves, apron
• Safety Hazards: Noise, dust/fumes, welding arc, ergonomic risks, hot work environments, sharp materials
