Mavericks Manufacturing Partners, Inc. in Escondido, CA is seeking an entry-level Weld & Manufacturing Engineer to support a best-in-class Welding Center of Excellence.

The role involves reviewing drawings, developing weld maps, and ensuring high-quality welds while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams. Candidates should have a bachelor's in engineering or related field, familiarity with GTAW, GMAW, LBW, and welding codes such as AWS and ASME.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience with GTAW, GMAW, LBW welding processes or certifications.
• Familiarity with welding codes such as AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, D17.1 and ASME Section IX.
• Strong communication and teamwork; ability to travel 0–25%.

Responsibilities

• Review designs, weld symbols, procedures, WIs, and code requirements.
• Develop weld maps and sequence maps to ensure high-quality, low-distortion welds.
• Assist with welding estimates/proposals for weldments.
• Participate in weld qualifications (PQR, WPS, PQTR).
• Review supplier manufacturing plans and conduct on-site quality audits.
