Job summary

Wheeler Machinery Co. in Utah is seeking a Welding and Machining PSSR Consultant to help clients optimize performance of Caterpillar equipment.

You will leverage Wheeler's welding, machining and service capabilities to reduce cost, increase uptime, and improve client satisfaction. Key requirements include 3–5 years' Caterpillar experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and ability to build trustful client relationships.

Qualifications

• Understands and demonstrates safe working practices.
• 3-5 years’ understanding of and technical experience with Caterpillar equipment.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Working & competent experience and understanding with Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Be willing to offer suggestions and ideas to increase department effectiveness.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• (Preferred) experience and clear understanding of Uptake suite of CRM software, Sales Link, Parts & Service Quoter (PSQ).
• (Preferred) training with time management skills.
• (Preferred) training in consultative selling skills.
• (Preferred) Understanding of Caterpillar warranty guidelines.
