Central Georgia Technical College is seeking a Welding & Joining Technology Instructor to deliver associate-level welding instruction in both classroom and lab settings. The role includes developing syllabi, lesson plans, and program goals while evaluating student progress.

The instructor may mentor adjunct faculty and travel to multiple campus sites as required. The selected candidate will teach day and/or evening courses, maintain records, and ensure compliance with CGTC policies.

Qualifications

• Earned Technical Certificate of Credit or higher in Welding and Joining Technology, or some college in field or related field.
• Certificate, license, or specialized training in field AND at least one year of relevant work experience.
• Documented teaching experience at the postsecondary level.

Responsabilités

• Provide associate-level Welding instruction in the classroom and lab settings, and prepare syllabi and lesson plans.
• Develops program goals and objectives and maintains course syllabus.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain grade records; mentor adjunct faculty as needed.
• Travel within the college’s service area and adapt to diverse teaching locations and delivery modes.
